MILLING, PROCESSING & PACKING FACILITIES

UniGrain has a large and modern grain cleaning, processing, packing and loading facility at Smeaton, Victoria which has stringent quality control and on time dispatch for all product shipments. The Smeaton site's central Victorian position allows easy accessibility to grain growers in areas such as the Wimmera, Mallee, Central Victoria, Eastern South Australia and the Riverina.

UniGrain's Smeaton site has its own storage facilities (with extensive storage capacity) and we also utilise private and public storage services across the country to meet our growers' needs. The majority of our grain from the Smeaton mill is generally shipped from the Port of Melbourne. Where required, UniGrain can also export products through other major Australian ports.

UniGrain is focused on producing value added products (eg. split peas), enabling us to target and service a growing customer base. Seed, grain and pulses can be farmer dressed (graded), machine dressed, packed in bags or bulk and containerized in 20 foot or 40 foot containers.
